Queen's University Belfast
Queen's University Belfast offers a 5-year medical degree (MB BCh BAO). Clinical training is in Belfast hospitals, including the Royal Victoria Hospital, and across Northern Ireland. International applicants usually need A-levels or equivalent (Class 12 PCB), English proficiency (IELTS), the UCAT where the school requires it, and an interview. Indian students must also qualify NEET-UG to be eligible to practise in India.
UK medical degrees (MBBS / MBChB) usually take 5 years (6 with an intercalated degree or foundation year), followed by the 2-year UK Foundation Programme for graduates who work in the UK.
