Medicine at Queen Mary is taught by Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry on the Whitechapel campus. The 5-year MBBS includes clinical training at Barts Health NHS Trust hospitals, including the Royal London Hospital. International applicants usually need A-levels or equivalent (Class 12 PCB), English proficiency (IELTS), the UCAT where the school requires it, and an interview. Indian students must also qualify NEET-UG to be eligible to practise in India.

UK medical degrees (MBBS / MBChB) usually take 5 years (6 with an intercalated degree or foundation year), followed by the 2-year UK Foundation Programme for graduates who work in the UK.
