NEET UG 2027 moves to computer-based test (CBT) mode

The Union Education Minister announced that NEET UG will shift from pen-and-paper to computer-based testing from 2027, and NTA has informed the Supreme Court of the change. Reports say NTA has asked AICTE to help identify government colleges as CBT centres. Wait for the official NTA information bulletin for the exact pattern, dates and centres, including centres in J&K.

Is NEET UG 2027 going to be computer-based?

The Union Education Minister announced, and NTA told the Supreme Court, that NEET UG moves from pen-and-paper to computer-based test (CBT) mode from 2027. Follow the official NTA notice (neet.nta.nic.in) for the final pattern, dates and centres.

I am a dropper from Kashmir. How should I use the last months before NEET 2027?

Take one full-length test every week in exam conditions, then spend the next days fixing the chapters where you lost marks. Practise on a computer screen now, because CBT changes how you read, mark and review questions.

Who counsels J&K UT quota MBBS and BDS seats?

J&K UT quota MBBS/BDS seats are filled through counselling by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) using NEET UG scores. All-India quota seats are counselled by MCC. Check jkbopee.gov.in and mcc.nic.in for each year's notices.

What is the XEAL NEET CBT mock test?
