Why ₹9?
We want only serious students to take this test: students who sit through the whole paper and do not leave it midway.
We have put a great deal of work into this test and into a question bank built from the JEE Main syllabus and the style of previous years' papers, so that you get the exact feel of the exam hall and feel the pressure of the timer. We keep adding new questions to help you improve.
₹9 is a one-time payment. You can take one full test every week for one year.

Instructions for the test
Pattern and marking (JEE Main Paper 1)
- One paper of 3 hours with 75 questions: Physics (Q1–25), Chemistry (Q26–50) and Mathematics (Q51–75).
- Each subject has Section A: 20 multiple-choice questions with 4 options and one correct answer, and Section B: 5 numerical questions whose answer is a whole number (for example 12 or −3).
- All 75 questions are compulsory, there is no choice inside a section.
- +4 for a correct answer, −1 for a wrong answer in both sections, 0 for a question you leave. Maximum 300.
- When the 3 hours are over, the paper is submitted automatically with the answers you have saved.
Taking the test
- Log in with your XEAL account, or with your roll number (on the hall ticket) and registered mobile number.
- Use the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics tabs to move between subjects at any time. The timer keeps running for the whole paper.
- For a numerical question, type the answer with the on-screen keypad and press "Save & Next".
- You can submit the paper yourself at any time (you are asked to confirm first). If you do not, it is submitted automatically after 3 hours.
- Stay in the test window. If you switch to another tab or app, minimise or close the window, or lock your phone, the paper is submitted automatically with the answers saved so far.
- Your result and progress report are not shown on screen: they are e-mailed to you after the test.
- One test a week: your next mock test opens 7 days after the previous one, with new questions.
- Use a laptop or desktop if you can, with a stable internet connection.

Before you start
- Keep 3 hours free and take the test in a quiet place, if possible with no one around.
- Keep a pen and rough sheets ready, and your cellphone away. If you take the test on your phone, turn on Do Not Disturb so a call or message does not take you out of the test window.
- Sit through the whole paper as you would in the exam centre.
Make it a habit
- Track your progress from time to time: every result is compared with your last one.
- Take a test every week: a new test opens 7 days after your last one.
- Put the mock test in your time table, so you take it at regular intervals before both JEE Main sessions.
Disclaimer: This mock test is for practice only. It is conducted by XEAL Education Works, not by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and we do not claim that it resembles the actual JEE Main conducted by NTA. The pattern follows the latest NTA information bulletin available to us; if NTA changes the pattern for 2027, we will update the test.
