RV College of Engineering (RVCE) is a private autonomous engineering college on Mysuru Road in south-west Bengaluru, run by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. Founded in 1963, it is one of the oldest and most sought-after private engineering colleges in Karnataka, with strong demand in KCET and COMEDK counselling. It offers about 15 B.E. programmes plus M.Tech, MCA and PhD. RVCE was placed in the 101-150 band in the NIRF 2025 Engineering ranking. Its NIRF data shows roughly 1,050-1,090 B.E. graduates a year, with median salaries of INR 8.5-10 LPA over the last three reported batches.
