SRM Institute of Science and Technology
SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) is a private deemed university whose main campus is at Kattankulathur, on the GST Road about 40 km south-west of central Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It began in 1985 as SRM Engineering College and became a deemed university in 2003; the Kattankulathur campus is very large, with a big residential population and its own hospital and tech park. SRMIST holds NAAC A++ accreditation and was ranked 14 in the NIRF 2025 Engineering rankings. It has one of the largest B.Tech intakes in India, with many computer science specialisations alongside core branches. Admission is mainly through its own SRMJEEE exam, with direct admission for board toppers and high JEE rankers.

Official programme page lists B.Tech CSE at Kattankulathur at INR 4,75,000 per year (4 years); the same figure is listed for CSE-type integrated/specialisation programmes. Fees for core branches (ECE, Mechanical, Civil etc.) are lower (contact XEAL for branch-wise fees).
