The medical programme for international students is taught in English and runs for about 6 years, including a 1-year internship, covering the subjects required by India's NMC (FMGL Regulations 2021).

• Years 1–2 (pre-clinical): Anatomy, Histology, Physiology, Biochemistry, plus the local language for patient communication
• Year 3 (para-clinical): Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology
• Years 4–5 (clinical): Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Dermatology and more
• Final year: 12-month internship at the same university's hospitals

• NEET-UG: Indian students must qualify NEET-UG. The result is accepted for MBBS abroad for three years.
• Class 12 marks: Physics, Chemistry and Biology, usually at least 50% (40% for reserved categories); at least 17 years old by 31 December.
• No entrance exam for most universities; some hold an online interview.
• Documents: Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates, NEET scorecard, passport, photographs.
• Admission letter and visa: the university issues an admission/invitation letter, then you apply for a student visa.
