Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT Pune)
Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT Pune), run by the Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust, is a private autonomous engineering college on Bibwewadi, Pune, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Founded in 1983, it is one of the most popular private colleges in Maharashtra's MHT-CET CAP counselling, offering around 12 B.Tech branches with a strong computer engineering cluster. Fees for CAP seats are regulated by Maharashtra's Fee Regulating Authority. VIT was in the 101-150 band of the NIRF 2025 Engineering ranking.
