Ramaiah Institute of Technology (RIT, formerly M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, MSRIT) is a private autonomous engineering college in MSR Nagar, Mathikere, north Bengaluru, run by the Gokula Education Foundation and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. Founded in 1962, it offers about 17 B.E. programmes, including aerospace, medical electronics and several CSE specialisations, plus B.Arch, PG and PhD programmes. It was ranked 75 in the NIRF 2025 Engineering ranking, among the highest of Karnataka's private VTU colleges. NIRF data shows around 1,075-1,125 B.E. graduates per year with median salaries of INR 6.2-8 LPA over the last three reported batches.
