Shiv Nadar University
Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, earlier Shiv Nadar University, is a research-focused, multidisciplinary university founded in 2011 by the Shiv Nadar Foundation (HCL founder). Its residential campus of about 286 acres lies near Dadri in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. It was granted Institution of Eminence status and became a deemed university. The School of Engineering offers B.Tech programs with a strong research and liberal-education component, small class sizes and fully residential campus life. In NIRF 2025 it was ranked 57 in the University category; it did not appear in the 2025 Engineering list. Admission uses JEE Main, its own SNUSAT/APT, SAT/ACT or CUET plus interview.

Most programmes include core engineering sciences in the first year, branch subjects and electives from the second year, and an industry internship or major project in the final year.
