Jilin University
Jilin University located in Changchun, founded in 1946, is a leading national research university under the direct jurisdiction of China's Ministry of Education. It is a Chinese Ministry of Education Class A Double First Class University. Tuition fee is 33000 RMB, Hostel 7200 RMB. Visa and insurance 1800 RMB is included in the total package.
The medical programme for international students is taught in English and runs for about 6 years, including a 1-year internship, covering the subjects required by India's NMC (FMGL Regulations 2021).
- Years 1–2 (pre-clinical): Anatomy, Histology, Physiology, Biochemistry, plus the local language for patient communication
- Year 3 (para-clinical): Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology
- Years 4–5 (clinical): Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Dermatology and more
- Final year: 12-month internship at the same university's hospitals
Students usually must pass the HSK Chinese-language exam (often HSK 4) before clinical training, because patients speak Chinese.

- NEET-UG: Indian students must qualify NEET-UG. The result is accepted for MBBS abroad for three years.
- Class 12 marks: Physics, Chemistry and Biology, usually at least 50% (40% for reserved categories); at least 17 years old by 31 December.
- Approved universities only: apply only to universities on China's Ministry of Education list for English-medium MBBS.
- No entrance exam for most universities; some hold an online interview.
- Documents: Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates, NEET scorecard, passport, photographs.
- Admission letter and visa: the university issues an admission/invitation letter, then you apply for a student visa.
